Angela Evelyn Bassett was born in America. Since the mid 80s Angela Evelyn has appeared in film and TV. She's received several awards, among them 16 NAACP Image Awards. Bassett was born in New York New York and fostered by an aunt living in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett as well as her sister and their mother relocated to St. Petersburg Florida when Bassett was 5 years old. Their father divorced their mother. Bassett was a fan of James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play while she was still in high school, and realised that it was acting she was looking to pursue. Following her graduation of Yale University New Haven Connecticut in the year 1980, she earned a Bachelor's Degree with a major in African American Studies, she continued to pursue a Master's Degree (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. She dated Courtney B. Vance, a fellow actress at Yale and they got married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Bachelor of Arts (Afro-American Studies) in the year 1980. A Master of Fine Arts (Drama) from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett has been cast in the lead role of Ramonda for the action adventure movie i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
