Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15 1960) is an American actress. Known for her work in television and in film in the 1980s, she's won numerous awards such as two Golden Globe Awards and sixteen NAACP Image Awards in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett originates originally from New York New York. Her home was Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett's mother had split from her father at about five. She and her younger sister later moved to St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. Bassett was inspired to become an actor after watching the stage play Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, starring James Earl Jones. Yale University New Haven Connecticut, where she received her bachelor's degree in African American and master's degrees (1983). Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale In 1997, they were married. Qualification: B.A. The Yale School of Drama awarded the degree of Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett back in the year 1980. She was a student at the following schools: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for students in 7th grade, Azalea Middle School for 8th & 9th grades in addition to Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the main parts in the action film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
